The TGWG CryptoLines puzzle is just like the cryptographic puzzles commonly found in a daily newspaper -- except that it’s lines found in a script.
To play, print this page, and work from the hard copy. Look for single letters, short words and punctuation -- those are helpful in locating vowels, Ns, Ts, and Ss. Letters that occur frequently in the puzzle probably stand for E, T, A, O, I, N, S, H, R, D, L, or U. Solution is by trial and error.
One reader says he copies and pastes our puzzle into a word processor. This allows him to use the Replace function, substituting lowercase guesses for the puzzle’s capital letters.
