BETSY BELANGER
Betsy Belanger is the director and
co-founder of The St. Louis Spirit Search Paranormal Investigation Team. St.
Louis Spirit Search was founded in 1993 and thus Betsy began her quest to gain
knowledge and insight into the world of the paranormal. She has dedicated her
life to the research and search for paranormal activity through extensive
study, research, classes and practice. Betsy has become a well sought after
lecturer on ghosts and other realms and has become the official historian at
the infamous Lemp Mansion.
Betsy has been featured on National Geographic Television, The Fox Family
Channel's REAL SCARY STORIES, MTV's FEAR, The Travel Channel's HAUNTED AMERICA,
The Fox 2 Morning News Show, Show Me St. Louis, The Dave Glover Radio Show, The
John Carney Radio Show and most recently in the 2003 Cable Program LEMP THE
HAUNTED HISTORY. She has been featured in articles in the St. Louis Post
Dispatch, The St. Louis Suburban Journals, The Riverfront Times, St. Louis
Magazine and The Kansas City Star.
Her goal, through enlightenment from her higher power, is to offer spiritual
guidance and counseling, psychic insight and truthful information to those
seeking her help and to also assist the spirits in finding their way. "I
have been given the opportunity to reach people and I hope I can always share
the information and words they seek. I sense this has been a gift from my
higher power and I feel incredibly honored to have interacted with so many
'spirit seekers' in my lifetime. This has been a journey of learning, love and
blessings".
Betsy is very happy to continue her association with the Lemp
Mansion in the popular Monday Night Ghost Hunting Tour. She hopes to reach many
more interested individuals and groups and to have the opportunity to conduct
further paranormal investigation in the future. "Life is a journey, not a
destination" and Betsy surely embraces this, her favorite quote, in her
journey in this physical life and in the realms beyond.
